A really nice little story for French beginners! :)Partly I found the vocabularies in the foot notes chosen very much at random.
But maybe it makes sense to choose those words and phrases for a translation and not others, if you read the book while a regular french course during school.
I, for my part, found some vocabulary I easily knew in the foot notes while not finding others I didn't know. But what are dictionaries for. :)
